As the new principal of Glenwood School, it is exciting to be on board in this role. I taught in first here at Glenwood for ten years, and am now embarking on a new adventure to continue to see our school grow and thrive. Prior to teaching at Glenwood, I also was a first grade teacher at Waverly School in Linden Unified.
During my career in Linden, I have served on numerous committees to support education and increased literacy. Having served on School Site Council both as a teacher and in a parental capacity, I have seen how important primary education is for achieving success as our children grow. Most recently, I have been the Teacher-in-Charge and Student Council Advisor along with many other responsibilities.
I attended elementary schools in the Stockton area and obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Diego State University. My teaching credential was earned through Chapman University. Currently earning my administrative credential, I am attending CSU Stanislaus.
My family and I live in the Linden area. My children attended Linden schools and are now pursuing their careers. I have had the opportunity to see education in many capacities. As an educator, I look for successes in every child. As a parent, I pushed my children even harder to achieve.
I look forward to a new and exciting year at Glenwood School and anticipate great opportunities for our students. I also expect huge success from all. The Glenwood Staff is enthusiastic and motivated to see each of your children thrive and succeed!
